Determination of water content in infant formula

Abstract

Three infant formula types underwent water analysis using multiple techniques compared against Karl Fischer titration as reference method. The reference method proved optimal, yielding water contents of 3.01-4.35% with superior measurement speed and sample efficiency over thermal methods.
