Synthesis, Characterization and Interaction with CT DNA of Novel Cationic Complex Ru(III) with Indazole and Schiff Base Derived from 5-Chlorosalicylaldehyde
Abstract
Novel cationic Ru(III) complex with indazole and 5-chlorosalicylaldehyde-derived Schiff base was synthesized. Characterization employed CHN analysis, MALDI-TOF/TOF mass spectrometry, FT-IR spectroscopy, and UV/Visible spectrophotometry. Ru(III) coordination involved bidentate Schiff base (azomethine nitrogen and phenolic oxygen) and indazole (nitrogen atom). CT DNA interactions occurred under physiological conditions via spectrophotometric titration.Downloads
