Synthesis and Characterization of Neutral Ru(III) Complexes Containing Schiff Bases and N-donor Heterocyclic Ligands

Abstract

Two new neutral complex compounds of Ru(III) with Schiff bases and N-donor heterocyclic ligands have been synthesized. Bidentate Schiff bases acts as anionic ligand where coordination occurs via deprotonated phenolic oxygen and azomethine nitrogen atom. The structures have been characterized using mass spectrometry and spectroscopic methods.
