Atomic spectrometry as a tool for archaeological material description

Abstract

Applies inductively coupled plasma emission and mass spectrometry to characterize archaeological iron artifacts. Multivariate statistical analysis classifies slag and bloom materials from Bronze Age and La Tène culture excavations.
